No issue whotsoever over the almost 3 years ownership. I love the precise steering, responsivness in any of the 6 gears as much as the low fuel consumption. The collission avoidance system saved me from a bumper run-in once. Comfort? Absolutely, within the limits of its size. -

I bought the TDI and I won't buy anything else. The diesel isnt the quickest but can maintain exceptional fuel mileage. The handling is what you would expect with a compact. Light and agile with a 50/50 weight ratio. All you could ever need in a car is fit into a compact.
