Mechanically the 2027 Murano is unchanged: the same 241-hp VC-Turbo, the same 9-speed automatic, the same standard all-wheel drive and body. What Nissan changed is the grade structure — a new blacked-out grade in the middle, Snow mode for everyone, and a different way in at the bottom.

I would like to share our experience purchasing a vehicle from Old Orchard Nissan. From the moment we arrived at the dealership until the deal was finally completed, the process was far from smooth. There were several stressful moments, and at one point, we even considered walking away from the car we had originally chosen. Does the 2027 Murano still have a V6 engine?

No — and this trips a lot of shoppers up. The redesigned Murano dropped the old 3.5-liter V6 and CVT. Every 2027 Murano uses Nissan’s 2.0-liter VC-Turbo four-cylinder, making 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic. It feels quicker off the line and is more efficient than the old V6.

Can I finance a Murano with less-than-perfect credit?

How long does a Nissan Murano last?
