Why We Do This

Our North Shore towns aren’t islands. Skokie, Niles, Evanston, Wilmette, Glenview and the rest are part of greater Chicagoland — one of the largest regional economies in the United States. Millions of people, an enormous amount of commerce, and the everyday life of the whole region keep moving because first responders show up around the clock to keep it safe.

Old Orchard Nissan Honors is how we say thank you to the police officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and 911 dispatchers right here in our corner of the North Shore and Chicagoland — not with a slogan, but with something useful.

“Everybody here has had a moment where a first responder showed up for them or someone they love. The whole team at Old Orchard Nissan is grateful for what these men and women do every single day, and we’re glad to have a week to say it out loud — and back it up in the service lane.”
