Summary of the Model

The Nissan Sentra was first introduced in 1982 as a subcompact, later becoming a compact car, and most recently graduating into the mid-size class for its 7th generation in 2013.

The latest Sentra features a more upscale appearance than its predecessors, and gained a new engine, an economical yet powerful 1.8-liter inline-four, which gives the Sentra an EPA estimated 39 MPG on the highway. The Sentra is available with either a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.

Even the base model Sentra offers many standard amenities, including 60/40 rear split folding seats, powered accessories, and a four speaker audio system with USB and iPod integration. Stepping up trim levels grants owners features such as leather upholstery and powered and heated side mirrors. Switching to the exterior, the Sentra features 16-inch steel wheels, along with automated headlights and LED tail lights.
