Introduced for the 2007 model year, the Nissan Rogue is a compact SUV that consistently gets high ratings for its versatility, reliability and low cost. Now in its second generation, the Rogue received Consumer Digest’s “Best Buy Award” in 2010, thanks to its outstanding comfort and overall practicality.

Under the hood, the Rogue features a 170 hp 2.5L four-cylinder mated to a CVT transmission, for a balance of performance and fuel economy. It received a mid-cycle overhaul before the second generation was introduced for model year 2014. The latest-generation Rogue offers true third-row seating, with room for seven passengers, and is available in front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive configurations.

Nissan’s Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program offers additional peace of mind over purchasing a traditional pre-owned vehicle. A car, truck, or SUV must pass a battery of requirements and tests to be certified, first passing the following criteria:

• Have less than 80,000 miles on the odometer
• No more than 6 years old
• Have a clean CARFAX report

The vehicle is then subject to a rigorous 167-point inspection by trained Nissan technicians, where every moving part will be examined. If any mechanical problems are found, they will be repaired and reconditioned, or the vehicle will not receive its certification.
